Aldous Everard

Aldous is development manager for Sheffield Solar, a project at the University of Sheffield, researching and communicating solar energy systems' performance and impact on the electricity grid in the UK.

Rob Gregory

Rob is a developer and co-founder at software agency Magnifica. Rob will be discussing how Magnifica worked with Downstreams CIC to build a project support platform that links corporations with grass roots causes whilst at the same time directly connecting supporters with the projects they care about.

Jenny Tibbles

Jenny is Volunteer Co-ordinator for Green City Action. Her role involves promoting the organisation and its activities through various means, including social media.


Tom Passmore

Tom is a co-founder for Dsposal, a start-up looking at helping heavy industry have a better relationship with their waste and the responsibilities of that waste.


On mental health

Eve Critchley

Eve is the Digital Community Manager at Mind. She will be talking about the lessons learned creating Elefriends — which is a national supportive online community for people struggling to cope.

Lucy Andrews

Lucy is the Development Manager at Manor and Castle Development Trust — a local community based charity that was set up in 1997 to work with local people to regenerate the neighbourhoods in the Manor and Castle ward of Sheffield.

Susan Smith

Susan is the Chair of Crookes Forum which aims to bring together the local community, and its representative groups, to support and promote community activity and democratic engagement.

Andy Mayer

Andy is the co-founder and strategy director of digital agency Yoomee. He'll be talking about how to use a Lean/Agile approach to make new online services.
